I had a bit of a friends cull at the weekend. Please don’t take it personally, but I’m trying to cut down the time I spend scrolling through people who only ever do fandom-only posts, people who only do memes, people who only ever do fandom recs, that kind of thing, and people who never engage with me at all.  I’ll still be thrilled to hear from anyone, as you know I’ll always reply to comments, and will do as long as I possibly can.  I don’t worry about friending – so if you want to defriend me right back (or defriend me unilaterally) please don’t feel bad and go ahead. It’s just that fandom isn’t something I’ll ever be going back to. *hug*

You know what, I was thinking the same sort of thing last night (while vainly trying to sleep - my back was hurting) and I thought about writing fanfic and how I have these great bunnies but then I thought, why not use those bunnies for my profic? I think I've done my turn in the tumbler of fandom and...yeah. I'm with you. :)

I have no disparaging things to say about fandom (except possibly the wank!) but I'm just done with it, have been for some time, just have no interest in it. I don't even get bunnied for fanfic any more, I think HP was some kind of aberration and I'm very grateful to it, but I have new characters popping up in my head all the time and I'd rather play with them. :D

I started reading Transgressions this morning in the doctor's waiting room - WOW. I am loving it. LOVING it. :)

I've just had to email fishpond.com.au regarding my order of False Colors and Transgressions which was supposedly shipped to me a month ago...
