erastesMy phone is broken. No idea what's wrong with it, think it's definitely dead, so having to use mobile. Hope dad doesn't need me tonight—just rang him to tell him, but of course that just confuses him. Will go to Latham's tomorrow and get another. I could do with a hands free, but I don't have a plug point and a phone point anywhere near each other.
I spent half an hour trying to work out which spelling of CHECKERS was correct for English spelling—and getting a bit stumped and then suddenly it hit me. The correct spelling is….

i can't believe that. I am being infiltrated with American spellings/words and I don't even realise it. eeeeeeeek!
