Lucius just brought a WORM in.

And ate it.

There is food in their bowls.

Cats. Go figure.

But Lucius stalked and killed the worm by HIMSELF. I'm sure you provide fine vittles for the kitties, but at least Lucius has retained his sense of identity as Big Hunter.

As long as it's worms and no more sparrows! Or it's BIG COW BELLS for the Snucius!

BIG COW BELLS seem to work. Here in Colorado, Canadian geese are one of many protected species. Basically, we got wildlife all over our urban experience, and they are important residents, too.

My apartment complex is in a parklike setting, with several ponds and creeks. Many, many geese and ducks live here. And one cat named Titus, who rules them all. His mistress put a huge bell on him, so we do not find dead and partially devoured water fowl, if you know what I mean. The bell has not diminished Titus' strut, not by a long shot.
