Well, it wasn't AWFUL.  It wasn't great either.

Script left a lot to be desired, and the great white hunter who is on the team to track things seemed just to follow the broken trees and destroyed branches.  A blind bat could have followed THAT trail.

Not at all a serious competitor for Dr Who, but it will do while the Good Doctor is off shagging Jack.

And, not that I normally notice these things, but would it have killed them to have a few ethnic minorities in the programme?

Sorry it wasn't as good as it could have been.

By the way, where are you?

I've diagnosed it as Torchwood Junior meets Stargate Junior. Quite watchable, though, and I'll watch the next couple of episodes to see how/where it goes. (After all, it can't possibly be worse than Robin Crud!)

Nod nod nod. I have a feeling that - like Stargate - they are going to be wandering around that forest for EVER ...

No - nothing can be worse than Robin Crud. Although I would have liked some hot men to slash over.

Great amount of so-whattage. Pretty much what I expected from the emphasis on effects (good series, like eg NewWho, Torchwood or Life on Mars, have other things going for them).

Not going to stop watching it, but not going to despair over missing it (and wouldn't be surprised if I just miss an ep in a week or two's time and can't be arsed to follow it up).

There seemed to be an awful lot of wandering through the forest in a pointless manner..

But yes, I agree. If I could have been arsed to find a blank vid I would have watched Shrek instead and I've seen that about 20 times before!
