You thought that girls being called Chardonnay and Chablis were a new invention!? Not according to the Regency Name Generator which lists CHAMPAGNE as a girl's first name!

Someone has just pointed out at work that my heroine has a silly name and she's right. I can't call the poor girl Emily with a surname of Pelham. Emily Pelham.. Oh dear. Trouble is I LIKE Emily. Perhaps I'll just have the girl mention that she'd be glad to change her name as it's been a trouble to her for years.
