[erastes]

I've started to read my flist at last... I know - it's taken me a while, I've still been clinging to underlucius - but I've now bookmarked erastes' friends.

It's just... scary.

Was it so scary when I started off as underlucius? I can't really remember. Probably not, because in that LJ I started with about four friends and here I have loads of "instant" ones, and apart from the people who are here from UL, I don't know anyone.

I was always the kid who would stand and watch at the edge of the playground until someone said hello. As much as I long for literary success I really would hate to get to the stage where I couldn't comment on anyone's LJ or leave comments enabled on my own. That would be pretty sad.

I'll be brave, soon. Really. *watches*

It's not really the 'commenting on the comments of others' that really got me, but the realization that my first reply on your journal was to someone else. It just wasn't a proper hello. :D
